Data Protection Guideline
- We respect you as a customer, and know that you attach importance to the protection of your data. We have therefore drawn up this Data Protection Guideline to inform you about the data we collect, how we collect them and what we use them for. By using this website, you accept the practises described in this Data Protection Guideline. The data protection practise of stylejunta.com complies with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).
- Type and time of data collection
- We record your personal data if you forward such data to us. If, for example, you purchase a product from us, we may collect the data pertaining to your name, postal address, telephone number, credit card number and e-mail address. If you order information circulars, we collect the data pertaining to your e-mail address. If you make use of the special services we offer, we may collect other personal data from you. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to the user's computer by stylejunta.com if the user surfs on the stylejunta.com website. A cookie may only contain information that stylejunta.com has itself sent to the user's computer - it cannot be used to obtain private data. If the user accepts the cookies in place on the stylejunta.com website, stylejunta.com does not gain access to the user's personal information. However, by way of the cookie the user's computer can be identified. The data stored in cookies are not linked to the user's personal data (name and address etc.).
- Use of your data
- We endeavour to protect your data. Under no circumstances shall we hire out your address or e-mail address without your approval, trade such an address or forward it to another company for its marketing purposes. We use your personal data for internal purposes such as processing your order and to keep you up-to-date in respect of your order. From time to time we may send you information about new functions, new services and special offers that we believe are beneficial to you. If you make use of special offers from our marketing partners, we may forward your personal data to such marketing partners following your approval. The personal data that you forward to us in the case of placing an order are used to process and execute your order. We may forward the personal and non-personal data of our customers to a legal successor such as a company that acquires our business. Under certain circumstances, we are required to disclose your personal data if we are under obligation in that respect by law or if we believe, in good faith, that such a measure is necessary to honour our obligations in the case of a court hearing or legal proceedings or to honour a court order. HTP’s shipping partner, DHL, shall be informed of the user's data insofar as this is necessary to deliver goods. By way of processing the contract in full the user's data, which for tax reasons require storing, are blocked. Such data are no longer available for further use.
- Unsubscribe
- If you no longer want to receive announcements or other marketing information from us by e-mail, please send us an appropriate message to: customerservice@stylejunta.com. Please state your full name and your e-mail address and postal address. The approval to use your data may be withdrawn at any time.
- IP address and profile files
- We do not collect the following personal data from you: your browser type, the URL of the website you previously visited, your internet service provider, your operating system or your IP address. It is not easy to determine your identity by way of non-personal data. We may use your non-personal data to determine problems in conjunction with our server and to administer our website. Furthermore, your non-personal data may be used to collect comprehensive demographic data and customer traffic samples, and to determine website use. We use such data to promote sales and to design our website. As in the case of almost all website operators, we also use profile files for electronic trade. Profile files contain information that is stored by your web browser on your computer. Although our profile files do not contain any personal data, we may use them, for example, to place products in your shopping basket in between visits or during a visit, or offer you a more individual user experience. You can specify whether or not your web browser accepts profile files. If you have not amended the computer settings, it is highly likely that your browser will accept profile files.
- Protection of your data
- We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. When you enter confidential information such as a credit card number in our registration or order forms, we encode such information by way of the SSL protocol. In the case of buying products online via a credit card, we store your credit card number for a limited period in an encoded form, and certain employees have access to the address data but not, however, to your credit card data. We do not store any PIN data or three-digit security codes. Although we do everything to protect your personal data, we cannot, therefore, guarantee absolute security of your data. In addition, we do not assume any liability for the disclosure of data as a result of transmission errors, unauthorised access or third-party acts or as a result of events beyond our control.
- Protection of children's privacy
- The services are intended to be used by persons who are at least 18 years old. As a result we do not wittingly collect or use any personal data of persons who we believe are not 18 years old. Furthermore, we delete all data in our database, which in our opinion emanate from young people who are not 18 years old.
- Updating your personal data
- If you amend your personal data, you can correct it, update it or delete it by contacting our customer service department at customerservice@stylejunta.com.
- Amendments to our Data Protection Guideline
- If we amend our Data Protection Guideline, we shall publish a new version on our website. The new version shall come into force once it is published.
